Lift Manager

The PLC Shift Lift Manager application allows you to coordinate up to 16 Plunger Lift applications. Specifically, it prevents multiple Plunger Lift applications from lifting at the same time. The number of wells that are allowed to lift at the same time is configurable.

 

Plunger Lift applications can be local to the Lift Manager application, where they are are on the same device, or remote, where the Plunger Lift application runs on another controller. Configuring local applications is simpler, and the Lift Manager only needs the 'App Tag Name Prefix' parameter for each Plunger Lift application. When the application is remote, individual tags must be configured and the user must be able to read and write the required tags from the remote application. This would typically be done in the PLC.
