Well Test - HMI

A basic operator HMI suitable for use on mobile devices was designed in Codesys. This HMI allows a user to select the well to test, start and stop tests, and see information for the current test and for the last test.

 

This HMI interfaces to the automation program using tags. If tags are made available externally to the Codesys soft PLC, then this interface could just as easily have been designed in SCADA, on a standalone HMI, or using some other mechanism. Operator HMIs need to be extremely customizable to meet end user and site specific requirements. Making this a fully customizable component makes sense, and allows system designers to build exactly what they need without any compromises.
